URBAN AIR MOBILITY WITH ECONOMIES IN TRANSITION

It is an initiative of the Innovative Air Mobility Industries (IAMI) Consortium. Since October 2012, we have been encouraging positive changes in the way people move around cities to make them more livable places. We aim to become the largest initiative in Central Asia to transform Urban Air Mobility. Co-financing our innovative projects will help us achieve our great goal.

Using our industrial city worldwide as living laboratories, our industry partners will show how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by moving people, goods and even waste in smarter ways.

Our programs support our vision of creating more livable urban spaces. By fostering innovation and transformation, we can improve people's quality of life, decarbonize mobility and make the economy in Central Asia more competitive.

This partnership is about inspiring and enabling the movement towards more livable urban spaces, dedicated entrepreneurial talent and competitive mobility companies. Together we aim to build a prosperous future for ASEAN countries' cities.

We will help build an innovative community to educate and inspire mobility solutions for 21st century cities. We will avoid fragmentation by encouraging all actors in Urban Air Mobility to work together – with cities and citizens at their heart – and to increase social inclusion and equality.

OUR APPROACH

Urban Air Mobility is always under pressure. Upcoming future challenges include increasing urban populations, how to build and maintain infrastructure, the economic and environmental costs of congestion, demands for greater accessibility and safety, and the question of how to improve air quality. Based on a comprehensive analysis, Urban Air Mobility with economies in transition will address eight societal and Urban Air Mobility challenges.
